| Description | | | Yakumo was made into a Wu when Pai's "overexcited" pet almost killed him and the only way to save him was to make him a Wu. Since then his life was binded with Pai's until they either both die or both become human. He quickly developed romantic feelings for this strange yet overly cute girl. In the first two graphic novels Yakumo was nothing but cannon fodder, he could barly defend himself and had no magic, spells or Juuma, Parvati chewed him out quite a bit because of this and most of the demons had a field trip on kicking his ass. When Pai went missing at the end of volume two, Yakumo left to search for her. Somewhere between volume two and three, Yakumo came across a dealer in the secret arts called Haan Hasrat, who had beast eggs that contained Touchou(earth claw) and Chin-Ku(mirror tick). These coupled with the four years of training Yakumo had gone through, made him capable of protecting Pai when he found her, Benares himself said that he almost didn't recognise him. |
