He goes to the local high school, has a part time job working at a gas station, and looks like any normal young guy. His expressionless face rarely shows any emotion, if at all. nnThat all changes when he gets behind the wheel of his father's car, a Toyota Trueno AE86(the Corolla in the US). Having mastered driving techniques most racers would kill for, Takumi also has a side job delivering tofu to a hotel at Mt.Akina's peak. Through this "job", Takumi's driving instincts have been honed to the highest caliber.nnA chance encounter with the redsuns' Keisuke Takahashi plunges Takumi into the world of underground mountain road racing.
